Stigma around mental illness a $20B problem in workplace

The stigma around mental illness remains a huge barrier to improving mental health in the workplace, a problem the Mental Health Commission of Canada estimates costs employers $20 billion a year. Canada broke new ground in creating a national standard for workplace mental health in 2013, but the work of making it a useful tool is just beginning.
