A Nova Scotian is saved from an opioid overdose by paramedics almost every other day

Nova Scotia's medical director for Emergency Health Services says paramedics and emergency first responders use naloxone almost every other day to save someone from an opioid overdose in the province. Since 2018, an average of 151 people a year have been saved.
