Diagnosed with COVID-19 last summer and soon admitted to hospital, Peter Simard of Gatineau, Que., thought he was going to die, and so did his doctors. Although he was put in a medically induced coma and on a ventilator, his family never gave up hope for a miracle. After nearly nine months of hospitals and rehab, he's finally back home.
