COVID-19 variant barrels into Lower Saint-Lawrence region, sending young people to hospital

The public health director for the Lower Saint-Lawrence says his region is, unfortunately, an example of the damage newer strains of the coronavirus can cause. The growing spread of COVID-19 variants is putting younger people in hospital including a toddler.
